Supa de peste ca la Szeged (Szegedi Halaszle) - Hungarian fish soup

Fara nici un dubiu aceasta este supa mea preferata de peste si cine a avut norocul sa incerce versiunea la fata locului,adica in Szeged,stie de ce. Desi mi-ar fi placut sa prepar supa cu peste proaspat,a trebuit sa folosesc peste congelat. Folositi boia de calitate ,eu am folosit boia de ardei Kotanyi si v-o recomand si voua.

1  ceapa alba
1 kg macrou (sau orice alt de fel de peste disponibil)
1  cartof
1 ardei verde sau rosu
1 lingura boia de ardei dulce Kotanyi
1/4 lingurita boia de ardei iute
1 lingura pasta de tomate
 sare si piper

Se curata pestii , se scot maruntaiele si se taie capetele,apoi pestii se taie in bucati.
Se spala bine sub jet de apa rece.
Se curata cartoful si ardeiul gras si se taie in cuburi.
Intr-o oala se pune putin ulei si se caleste ceapa,se adauga cartoful si ardeiul,apoi boiaua dulce.Se pun la fiert capurile si cozile.
Se lasa sa fiarba 30 minute la foc mare,apoi se trece totul printr-o sita. Se apasa bine,ca sa obtinem aroma din peste. Folositi o sita cu ochiuri mici ca sa nu scape bucati de oase.
Se pune supa obtinuta intr-o alta oala,se adauga bucatile de peste ramase ,pasta de tomate si se fierbe la foc mic inca 30 minute.
Se adauga sare,piper si boia iute ,dupa gust.
Se serveste fierbinte.

Hungarian Fish Soup

One of the best Hungarian dishes is this soup made with Hungarian paprika. It's thick and so full of flavor.

1 white onion,chopped
1 kg fresh fish ( I used frozen mackerel,just because the fresh is not available)
1 potato,cubed
1 green or red pepper ,cut 
1 T Hungarian sweet paprika
1/4 t hot paprika or cayenne
1 T tomato paste
salt and pepper

Clean the fish and cut in pieces. Wash well under cold water.
Saute the onion,add the potato and the green pepper. Add Hungarian paprika and the fish tail and heads. Add water and boil on low for about 30 minutes.
Remove and pass everything through a sieve.
Put the soup in another pot,add the other fish pieces,tomato paste and boil for another 30 minutes,on low.
Add salt,pepper and cayenne,to taste.
