Tarta cu mere rase - Grated apple pie

Ingrediente:
200 gr faina
100 ml ulei
2 linguri lapte
1 varf sare
500 gr mere rase
100 gr zahar
1/4 lingurita nucsoara
1 lingurita coaja de citrice,rasa
1 lingurita scortisoara
50 gr fulgi de ovaz

Mod de preparare:
Se amesteca uleiul cu cele 2 linguri de lapte. Se adauga faina si sarea si se amesteca cu degetele, apoi se pune in forma de tarta, se inteapa cu o furculita se se da la cuptorul preincalzit, cam 15 minute.
Intre timp preparam umplutura. Se amesteca merele rase cu scortisoara,nucsoara,coaja de citrice rasa si zaharul. Daca merele sunt prea zemoase, se pot cali in prealabil, pana scade sucul.
Dupa ce s-a racit crusta, se adauga merele si se presara cu fulgi de ovaz.
Introducem forma in cuptor si se tine cam 25-30 de minute. Se serveste calda ,de preferat cu inghetata de vanilie.


Grated Apple Pie

200 gr flour (1 1/2 cup)
100 ml oil
2 T milk
pinch of salt
500 gr grated apples
100 gr sugar (about 1/2 cup)
1/4 t nutmeg
1 t grated citrus peel
1 t cinnamon
50 gr oat flakes



Mix the oil with 2 T of milk,add flour and salt and make a dough.Using your fingers,press the dough in the form and poke with a fork. Bake it for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile,prepare the filling.In a bowl,mix grated apples,citrus peel,cinnamon and nutmeg. If apples are too juicy,simmer until thickens.
Remove the pie shell,let cool and fill with the grated apples mix. Bake for 25-30 minutes and serve hot with vanilla ice cream.
